Coloured pencils, felt tips and paint were my toys of choice as a kid and you would never find me far away from a pad of paper. After going through school constantly being yelled at for drawing in class by teachers (normally for drawing the teachers themselves) it soon became clear that this was where my talents lay.

This led me to believe i should get a career where creativity was not going to get me in trouble - or into detention. I worked hard at fine tuning and expanding my skills, then applied and was accepted onto a Graphic Design course at Plymouth University. Here I could choose to specialise in typography, illustration or photography - an impossible choice for me as I loved all equally. So i did them all, got a BA with Honours - and continue to draw, paint, photograph and experiment, but this time for pay - and without being shouted at.
