With a large proportion of my illustrative work coming from new homes marketing and design, I am frequently commisioned to produce site plans of new homes developments or floorplans for developers and estate agents. In a traditional watercolour style I also produce elevations of new homes developments when a softer style is required to the now overused and hyper real CGi. With a reputation for fast turnaround of such work I am frequently asked to produce illustrations for developers including Heritage Homes, Millwood Homes, Dart Developments and Bexley Homes amongst others.
Running alongside my new homes work are many examples of more traditional illustration, be they photoshop work or vector character design. Personal work is also a chance to cut loose and just get back to what made me an illustrator and designer in the first place – the plain joy of producing work for no purpose other than pure enjoyment, with no pressure to adhere to a brief the simple pleasure of just creating takes you back to those first days at the kitchen table doodling for pure fun. It also provides the perfect environment to discover new methods, make mistakes which may lead to a new style and essentially, just put a smile on your face.
